Prophetic Solution for Shaytan’s Whispers/Deceptions

Bismillaah Al-Hamdulillaah wa salatu wa salaamu 'ala rasulullaah Amma-ba'd Prophetic Solution for Shaytan's Whispers/Deceptions, by Muhammad bin Jamil Zeeno (rahimahullaah) Question: What if Shaytan tempts us with the question: 'Who created Allaah?' Answer: If Shaytan tempts you with this question, you should seek refuge in Allaah, as Allaah says: وَإِمَّا يَنْزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ نَزْغ ٌ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّه ُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ And if an evil whisper from Shaytaan (Satan) tries to turn you away (O Muhammad) (from doing good, etc.), then seek refuge in Allaah. Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. (Fussilat, ayah 36) Allaah's Messenger (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) taught us to resist Shaytan's deceptions by saying: Amantoo billaahi wa rusulihi. Allaahu AHad, Allaahus-Samad Lam Yalid Walam Yulad walam Yakun Lahu Kufuwan AHad. (I believe in Allaah and His Messengers. He is Allaah, The One, The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need. He begets not, nor was He begotten; and there is none co-equal or comparable to Him.) Then spit over the left shoulder three times, then seek refuge from Shaytan and cease (whatever is causing you doubt). Then verily this (evil prompting) will go away.
